Guardian Angel

A passionate scuba diver attempts to reshape his community's relationship with their local seas, by filming one of the world’s rarest sharks in British waters for the first time.

Through this short documentary, we want to go beyond simply sharing a hopeful story about the underwater world.

We want to connect more people with our local seas, and directly help scientists fill-in critical knowledge gaps for some of our most endangered shark species.

Hi, my name is Danny Copeland, and I'm a scuba diver, conservationist & filmmaker. I'm stoked to share more info with you about my latest doc, Guardian Angel, and invite you to come along for the ride as we finish and release the film.
